This Friday evening around 7:45 p.m., a man fell from the eighth floor of a building on the Quai de l’Ourthe in Liège. The Liège police confirm this defenestration. The man fell on a car which was traveling on the quay of the Ourthe and in which there were three people. These people were not injured but are very shocked. The man did not die on the spot but he finally succumbed to his injuries despite the intervention of the emergency services.
Traffic is interrupted on the right lane of the Quai de l’Ourthe this Friday evening and therefore reduced to a single lane. An expert from the Liège public prosecutor’s office is expected on site. The causes of this defenestration are not yet known.
