Pennsylvania authorities have confirmed the death of a 27-year-old man who was killed by his own snake.
Police received a call on Sunday about a man in cardiac arrest with a snake tied around his neck.
According to NBC News, the prolonged presence of the snake on the man’s body caused him brain damage, which required transport to the hospital.
The security forces dispatched to the scene had no choice but to open fire on the python to reduce the suffering of the victim.
After a 4-day fight at Lehigh Valley Hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
Elliot Senseman owned a python that was over 18 feet tall.
This type of reptile rarely attacks humans, except in cases of extreme danger.
