It was at “La Mama” that the drama took place, in the Grand Parc Miribel-Jonage in Vaulx-en-Velin located in the metropolis of Lyon, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Following an altercation, a man lost his life, targeted by a shotgun.
A tragic event. While two naturist men were arguing this Saturday, July 23 morning, one of them would then have shot his interlocutor, as reported by our colleagues from the newspaper Progress. Nearby, police were passing by on mountain bikes. When they heard the bang, they went to the scene immediately.
On the spot, the main suspect in his fifties was still present. The police were then able to arrest him immediately and without difficulty. He didn’t show the slightest sign of resistance.
The victim was hit in the chest and died shortly after, despite the intervention of the emergency services who were unable to resuscitate him. The Miribel gendarmes are in charge of the investigation and access to the beach has been closed to newcomers for the moment.
