A man in his twenties was shot dead by the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group on Wednesday in Dover, Ain (F). He killed five people.
The man was killed at midday by the gendarmes who had been there since the morning. He had taken refuge in a house where this family lives. According to the Mayor of Dover Christian Limousin. the individual had attacked five members of this family, including three children.
A large perimeter was stretched by the gendarmerie around the center of this village of a thousand inhabitants, neighboring Ambérieux-en-Bugey. Access has been sealed off.
