A match in tribute to Maradona with Messi, Ronaldinho and Buffon

Before leaving for Qatar with Argentina to try to win the first World Cup of his career, Lionel Messi will play a “peace match” in tribute to Diego Maradona, the other legend of Argentine football, who died on November 25 2020. The match will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Rome on November 14, six days before the start of the World Cup (November 20-December 18).

The PSG striker will notably be accompanied by his former FC Barcelona teammate Ronaldinho, Italian international goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and AS Roma coach José Mourinho.
