Catherine, a regular customer of McDonald’s, sent TVA Nouvelles a short extract showing her very unappetizing meal.

Last Thursday, the lady went to McDonald’s, and ordered a Chicken Junior trio, 1 Chicken Junior and a 6 McCroquettes trio.

A seemingly simple order, but Catherine says employees at this branch often make mistakes when ordering customers.

“Every time I order something from this restaurant, there’s always something wrong with my food, but today is just the last straw,” she says. I received raw McCroquettes. I am disgusted with the situation, it is unacceptable.”

Given the risks posed by ingesting raw chicken, the customer of the fast food chain did not hesitate to report her misadventure.

The same evening, she tried to contact the restaurant to denounce the situation.

She maintains that the manager was not there, and therefore waited until the next day to express his dissatisfaction to one of the managers of the restaurant located at 90 boulevard Arthur-Sauvé, in Saint-Eustache, in the Lower Laurentians.

After a brief discussion, the branch manager reportedly apologized to the disgusted customer.

To support his apologies, the manager of this McDonald’s undertakes to make the “necessary changes” within three weeks.

“He says in 3 weeks everything will be different. I doubt it very much, there is a lot of work to be done, and this McDonald’s is seriously harming the reputation of the franchise, ”she told TVA Nouvelles.

Problems at the restaurant have multiplied in recent years, according to the customer: inaccurate orders, endless waiting times, etc.

Also, noteworthy, the manager allegedly offered Catherine a free meal the next time she visited the restaurant.

She insists that obtaining the free meal does not interest her, and that the important thing is to denounce an unacceptable situation.

“It’s a matter of principle and I explained to him that an apology and a refund are not up to what happened,” she said.

In her exchange with the manager, the resident of the North Shore of Montreal was told that the new manager had been hired “to get the restaurant back on its feet”.

The next few weeks will therefore be decisive for this fast-food restaurant in Saint-Eustache.
