This Saturday, they located the body of a medical student inside one of the public bathrooms on Libertador Avenue, specifically in the well-known military concentration stands of the Cathedral parish, in Ciudad Bolívar.
The fateful discovery was made at night.
The victim responded to the name of Luis Rendón, who at the time of finding him was wearing blue pants, a white and blue sweater and blue sports shoes.
According to scientific police sources, Rendón was in a state of decomposition. Apparently, he had gunshot wounds.
It was learned that the unfortunate find was made by passers-by who were jogging in the area. Apparently the smell of rottenness expelling from the bathrooms, still under construction, caught their attention and that’s when they found the body and notified the local authorities.
For now, the motive for the incident is unknown. It was learned that Rendón was in the tenth semester of medicine at the Universidad de Oriente (UDO).
Similarly, it was learned that the young student had been missing since Thursday, January 27. Apparently the last time they heard from him he was in a gynecology class.
