As NASA explains, the phenomenon of meteor showers is explained by the fact that the Earth encounters a dense flow of debris from Comet Halley, much of which was ejected 3,000 years ago.
As announced by the Federal Agency, this phenomenon will be visible both in the southern hemisphere and in the northern hemisphere. You will be able to observe it after midnight, with peak times set between 3 and 4 am. The agency advises observers to allow themselves 30 minutes in the dark to allow the eyes to adjust. “Look towards the moon and admire the sky as much as possible”.
The next major meteor showers will be visible next August and October.
