The price of gold jumped today, Friday, in Egypt in the middle of trading, and the gram increased by 195 pounds at once, compared to its level at the beginning of trading, according to what Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy.
The price of a gram of gold fell by 105 pounds at the beginning of trading, before it jumped again in the middle of trading.

14-karat gold prices rose to 2,373 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 karat gold increased to 3051 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold reached 3,560 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold rose to 4069 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound fell to 28,480 pounds. The price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.

The price of gold globally rose to about $2,031 per ounce (an ounce is equivalent to about 31.1 grams of 24 karat), in the middle of today’s trading, Friday, compared to the end of yesterday’s trading, an increase of $8.01, or 0.40%, according to Bloomberg data.
