A knife attack on a seven-year-old and an 11-year-old girl in eastern France has taken a tragic turn.
Another girl reportedly died of a heart attack following her school in eastern France was closed following the attack on the two girls who suffered minor injuries.
The 14-year-old girl went into cardiac arrest as the high school in the village of Soufelwegersheim, near Strasbourg, closed its doors on Thursday followingnoon (19/4).
According to an official, the 14-year-old girl went through such a period of severe stress due to the incident that she suffered a heart attack and died later in the followingnoon.
Education official Olivier Faron said on Friday (4/19) that the teenager was “rescued by the teachers who very quickly called the fire department. He died at the end of the followingnoon.”
“Unfortunately this student suffered a very high stress episode which led to a heart attack,” he added.
