The death of the artist, Muhammad Al-Adandani, passed away at the age of 82, on Monday evening, one month after the death of his wife, whom he mourned deeply.

The late was born in 1941 and began his career in presenting small roles, but he was in love with the monologues presented by the late Ismail Yassin, so he excelled in presenting them when he was 14 years old.

The late Nubian artist was recently honored at the Cairo Drama Festival. And he expressed his great joy at this honor, when he appeared in a television interview recently and talked about his “disbelief” at that important moment in his artistic career.

Muhammad Al-Adandani participated in several cinematic works, most notably with the late Ahmed Zaki in “The Gatekeeper’s Bey” and “Four on an Official Mission.” He also participated with Samir Ghanem in the series “The Story of Mizu.”

During his artistic career, the late artist joined the modern Sudanese Nubian theater troupe, through which he presented Nubian and Sudanese folklore, as well as one-act plays.

In an old television interview, Al-Addani talked about his entry into the field of cinema, as he was a driver at first within the field of cinema, and director Hussein Al-Imam rejected him at first, but after watching him in a television work, he asked for his participation in the cinema.

The deceased was famous for his lightness, as he sometimes participated in comic roles, and despite the small roles he played, the audience kept remembering him for many years.

The Syndicate of Representative Professions, led by Ashraf Zaki, issued a statement mourning the late artist, and offered his sincere condolences to his family, provided that a representative of it will be present at Al-Addanani’s funeral on Tuesday in Alexandria.
