After leaving the beta versions of iOS 17.1 in the hands of different testers for several days, it will soon be time for the Apple brand to make this new update available to everyone.

A few weeks ago, Apple presented its new iPhone 15 range with great fanfare, with some interesting new possibilities for the brand’s biggest fans, aside from rumors notably concerning the new iPad models. That being said, it’s not just the hardware that matters for the firm, and highlighting its famous iOS operating system remains one of its permanent objectives.
Thus, in addition to various fixes aimed at making this famous OS more stable and ergonomic, update 17.1 will also include a whole bunch of major features made official by Apple during the last WWDC in June 2023. And good news, You won’t have to wait very long before you can enjoy it!

iOS 17.1, iPadOS 17.1, watchOS 10.1, macOS Sonoma 14.1 and tvOS 17.1 are coming in force!
Since the deployment of version 17 of iOS, everything has not been rosy and numerous bugs have been reported by the community. Some have obviously been resolved via minor updates, but others still persist: interface problems, random shutdowns, automatic phone locking, abnormal battery drain… In short, iOS 17.1 has work to do!
Thus, if Apple respects its usual schedule, iOS 17.1 could be made available this Tuesday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. French time. Indeed, the brand is used to deploying this type of update on Tuesdays, and had promised that the patch making the iPhone 12 usable again in France would arrive “at the latest” on October 24, 2023…
Besides iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, Apple will also release the new watchOS 10.1, tvOS 17.1, and macOS Sonoma 14.1 updates to the general public. All of these updates will include major bug fixes and performance improvements for a simplified user experience on Apple Watch, Mac and Apple TV.
Regarding watchOS 10.1, NameDrop will be one of the main features added for the occasion. It will allow users to share their contacts in the snap of a finger (or almost) thanks to Double Tap. The latter can also be used for other actions, such as answering a telephone call, etc.
