A motorcyclist dies in a closed circuit

A 37-year-old motorcyclist lost his life on Sunday morning following swerving into a closed circuit in Saint-Pie, Montérégie.

The accident occurred around 10:45 a.m., according to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).

“The 37-year-old man reportedly lost control of his motorcycle before hitting a low wall,” said Catherine Bernard, spokesperson for the SQ. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An SQ police officer specializing in collision investigation will go to the scene to try to determine the causes of the accident.
