A motorcyclist in her fifties is in critical condition following hitting a vehicle at the intersection of routes 148 and 158, in Mirabel, on Saturday evening.
Around 4:45 p.m., a call was made to 911 regarding a motorcycle accident near Arthur-Sauvé road, in Mirabel. According to the first information reported by the police, a vehicle would have entered the lane following having proceeded to its stop, but would not have seen a motorcycle which came on route 158 in an easterly direction. The motorcycle, to avoid the vehicle, would have deviated from its lane and hit another vehicle.

“The driver was transported to the hospital center,” said Karine Bazinet, spokesperson for the Mirabel Police Department.
She now lies in critical condition.

The other drivers involved in the crash did not sustain serious injuries.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the accident.
