Barcelona has approached the signing of French defender Jules Conde, player of the Seville team, in order to strengthen the ranks of the Catalan team before the start of the new season.
There are two seasons left in the contract of the French player Conde with his Spanish club Seville, as the contract between the two parties will expire in the summer of 2024.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona is close to reaching an agreement with Sevilla, regarding the purchase of the remainder of the French defender’s contract.
Romano added that Barcelona officials will meet with the French defender and his agent in the coming hours, in order to reach an agreement on the player’s personal terms.
The Italian journalist explained that the English club Chelsea withdrew from the race to contract with Conde in the past hours, due to the delay of the player and his club in responding to the offer submitted by the Allendan club.
