On Baikalskaya Street in Irkutsk, a fire broke out on the 16th floor of a multi-storey building under construction. The Ministry of Emergency Situations estimates the fire area at 250 square meters.
“Due to the constant threat of collapse of building structures, firefighters might not go upstairs and start extinguishing. The fire area is regarding 250 square meters. No one was injured, ”RIA Novosti quotes a message from the Ministry of Emergencies.
For the installation of lifts, firefighters manually dismantled the rubble for more than an hour. Seven vehicles are on site.
