Sales of the Chinese crossover JAC S4 should begin in Russia this year. The portal informs about it. “Chinese cars”… According to him, the vehicle has already received the Vehicle Type Approval. This car should appear at Russian dealers in the spring. At the moment, the Chinese have already brought three JAC S4s to Russia and registered them. These machines are primarily intended for testing purposes.
The assembly of machines for our market will be established in Kazakhstan. There is no official confirmation of this information yet.
The S4 is expected to be available with a 136 horsepower 1.5-liter petrol turbo. The unit will work in conjunction with a six-speed manual transmission or variator.
Also, customers will be offered a 1.6-liter aspirated engine with a return of 109 horsepower. Such a motor will work exclusively with mechanics. Front-wheel drive only.
In March last year, JAC began Russian sales of the mid-size JAC S7 crossover. This model has become the new flagship of the Chinese brand in our market.
