Al-Marsad newspaper: Ahmed Hamad, the lawyer of Mohamed Adel, who was sentenced to death for killing Mansoura student Naira Ashraf, ignited the controversy following deleting a video he had published yesterday from inside the office of the famous lawyer Farid El-Deeb.

Mohamed Adel’s lawyer said that he was accompanied by Mohamed Adel’s family inside Farid El-Deeb’s office to submit case papers to start preparing the appeal. He added, “Of course, we are in the office of my father, Professor Farid Al-Deeb, as we promised you, and we will meet him in 10 minutes, in order to submit the case papers so that he can begin preparing the appeal memorandum.”

While followers of Mohamed Adel’s lawyer were surprised that he deleted the video today, which raised speculations regarding Farid El-Deeb’s retraction from taking over the defense in the case that occupied public opinion in Egypt.

The father of the Egyptian student, Naira Ashraf, who was killed by a colleague at Mansoura University, also canceled the attorneys’ representation in the case once morest the accused of the murder, Mohamed Adel, according to “Erm News”.

Naira Ashraf’s father also submitted a new power of attorney for lawyer Khaled Abdel Rahman to be the only lawyer to plead in Naira Ashraf’s case, to have the only right to authorize the media and speak on behalf of the family.
