Golden State is back! Victorious 120-110 in Dallas, the Warriors qualified for the NBA Finals, their sixth in eight years.
Stephen Curry and his teammates won their series against the Mavericks 4-1. Author of 32 points, Klay Thompson was the big man of this Act V. The Warriors forced the decision in the first period with a 17-point advantage at the break (69-52). Luka Doncic’s slow start to the game is also one of the reasons for Golden State’s flight. The Slovenian prodigy scored a 2 out of 10 in the first quarter which weighed very heavily in the balance.
Golden State will face the winner of the series between Boston and Miami in the final. The Celtics lead 3-2 before Act VI this Friday on their floor. The first match of this final will be played on June 2 in San Francisco.
