In an extraordinary session, the Deliberator of Cutral Co authorized Mayor Ramón Rioseco to sign the agreement with the El Mangrullo Intermunicipal Autonomous Entity, ENIM, so that the 326 million pesos are availableas a non-refundable contribution.
This item will be used to cover the updated cost of the machinery acquired in Brazil and which suffered an increase as a result of inflation. «He is supported by the concept we have of accompaniment to the factory, understanding that “It is a cooperative that brings together more than 60 families.”said the president of the Deliberative Council, Jesús San Martín.
The modernization process of this factory, which is dedicated to the production of hollow bricks, began last year. With this, the third disbursement of money is completed. The previous ones were 149 million approved in August and the next was 200 million pesos in October.
In the foundations to endorse the ordinance approved unanimously by the councilors present – there were three absences – the need to update to improve production was highlighted. The money is included in the budget of the ENIM entity, it was reported.

“The idea is for it to be a competitive cooperative in the market,” said San Martín. Among those present at the extraordinary session were, in addition to San Martín, the councilors María Elena Paladino, Elida González; Hugo Deisner Plinio Rubilar; and Fabián Godoy (all from the ruling bloc). Jesica Rioseco and Maximiliano Navarrete were absent; and Omar Pérez (Community).
This modernization – which is called the reengineering and updating project of the ceramic pole – began between the members of the cooperative, the municipality and the Enim entity. Last year he traveled to Leme, in Brazil – 250 kilometers from São Paulo – to acquire the machinery.
The laboratory that allows samples of the raw material -clay- to be taken is already set up and in the first stage three operators were trained on how to do it, obtain the characteristics and carry out the calculation to start production.
The improvements not only cover the main warehouse of the factory, but also the electrical system that suffered significant deterioration due to lack of maintenance. Cersinpat has been in the hands of the workers since 2010.
