The fragmentation of the world economy is causing the great economic blocs to reappear: the United States, Europe and China. But it’s not like before. Third countries no longer necessarily have to align their economy with one or the other of these blocks. They now want to exercise a freer and less exclusive choice. They want to be multi-aligned.
