In an interview on Voice of Lebanon 93.3 radio, Al-Abyad said: “The new mutant is fast-transmitted and transmits as delta over two and a half or three times, and it sometimes does not respect the previous immunity. who received the vaccine.
He continued, “The issue of closure is a very big decision, and the first question about it is the duration, that is, do we close for 5 days or a month or more. We have put in Lebanon psychologically, ‘Do not shake standing on a lawn,’ and we have tried since the beginning of the month to tighten the noose around roaming without protection.”
Al-Abyad pointed out that “the issue of closing the country is under study,” noting that “it is being studied in a slow manner and according to the numbers, and our goal is not to reach this stage.” I have to work to not reach the locks.”
In another context, Al-Abyad confirmed that “He never regretted his participation in the government,” he added, “from the beginning, it was clear that the burden would be very heavy and difficult, and I consider myself more determined to find solutions.”
Al-Abyad expressed his wishes that the government would meet, and added: “We are waiting for a solution between the parties, and it seems that in Lebanon we do not know how to resolve our differences.”
