A New Round of Hotfixes Hits the PTR – StarCraft II

A new salvo of patches is just arriving on the PTR before being deployed definitively. Find all the details in the patch notes below.

GENERAL

Fixed an issue where killing mucous tumors or enemy stasis mines resets the draw timer Fixed an issue where right clicking on certain destructible rocks and shaky rock formations would trigger an attack command .Fixed an issue that prevented flying units and Colossi from revealing what is on very high cliff levels.Fixed an issue that caused Terran ground buildings to push back Rangers and Archons that were moving near them. Fixed an issue where some buildings had a kill count without being able to kill. Reduced the animation speed of inhibition and acceleration zones to improve their readability. Fixed the glossary of the Help menu that did not mention some abilities and upgrades. Fixed issues where a hidden shadow patch behind the model appeared on widgets and neutral buildings when low quality graphics were selected. Fixed an issue which caused the destructible ice pick radius to be barely visible. Fixed an issue where the destructible ice model was larger than its collision size. Fixed shaky rock formations not generating outlines for units that were behind them. Fixed destructible rocks not being consistent with selection radius, armor name and description. Fixed minor issues with creatures: Fixed stinging lizard whose model of Death is not correct when low quality graphics are selected. Fixed Death Scarab displaying an armor icon. Fixed Cleaner Robot attempting to play non-existent sounds. Fixed various relevant data entries for map designers :Fixed an issue where the Shakuras Statues Small Gizmo had too high a variation count. Didn’t image in fog and required exploration. Fixed destructible ramp (Diagonal – Huge) having wrong model and wires. Added map icons to destructible widgets in Garage.

TERRANS

General

Fixed an issue where the temporary building landing model shifts when the landing zone is blocked. Fixed an issue where the Nova – Ghost and Cruiser models did not display an outline when they were behind tall buildings. Fixed an issue where SCVs and MULEs can fix hallucinations.

Station orbitale

Fixed an issue where the tentative model of the Orbital Station looked like the Command Center when low quality graphics were selected.

Crow

Fixed Interference Matrix not causing Interceptors to return to Carrier Fixed an issue that prevented the Interference Matrix impact model from being displayed.

reaper

Fixed an issue where the KD-8 Charge was listed in the Observer building ranking.

Thor

Fixed an issue where a mode transition would show the Undo button.

PROTOSS

General

Fixed an issue where Recall and Blink would reveal to the enemy where a unit in combat had teleported to. Fixed an issue where a shadow patch was showing on pylons and Space gates during Inbound Transfer when low quality graphics were selected.

Colossus

Fixed an issue where Extended Thermolance increased weapon range to 10 instead of 9. Fixed an issue where Colossus would not trigger shield impact animations when attacking a targeted friendly unit.

Oracle

Added cooldown display to weapon icon. Added weapon range indicator when hovering over control panel button.

Shield Battery

Fixed an issue where the selection circle would clip through the ground during the Arrival Transfer animation. Fixed an issue that caused a duplicate model to be created during the Arrival Transfer. An issue where some models were wrong. Removed the shadow patch that displayed when low quality graphics were selected. Fixed an issue where the radius was not being created when changing the target. Fixed an issue where some sounds were playing twice.

Tracker

Fixed an issue where Blink animation model was visible to enemy while out of line of sight.

ZERG

Chancre

Fixed an issue where Baneling was not dealing damage to its target when they were on another cliff level. Fixed an issue where Baneling was not triggering the impact patterns of shield on a friendly target. Fixed an issue where Baneling was not always playing the correct death sound when attacking.

ranger

Fixed an issue where the unearthed Ranger weapon would not display as disabled.

Crawling Prickles and Crawling Sporulators

Fixed an issue where the Crawling Spike attack sounds would play with a lag. which caused the Crawling Spikes and Crawling Sporulors to display an outdated icon in the UI when Rooting.

swarmer

Fixed an issue that prevented the Burrow / Unearth Swarmer keybind from changing.
