A new shock about the prices of building materials in Egypt

Contractors and workers in building materials received a new shock today, due to a strong rise in the price of gray cement, which exceeded the barrier of 2000 pounds per ton, “handing over the factory land.”

As for iron prices today, they varied between a slight increase in the price of Ezz Dekheila iron, and a slight decrease in the price of a ton of investment iron, compared to the prices recorded yesterday, Thursday.

The local prices portal, which is affiliated with the Information and Decision Support Center at the Council of Ministers, reviewed the new prices for iron and cement, today, Friday, February 10, as follows:

Iron price

Today, Friday, the price of investment iron in Egypt witnessed a slight decrease, recording about 27304.76 pounds per ton, while the price per ton was about 27450.46 pounds yesterday.

Today, Friday, the price of Ezz El Dekheila steel rose slightly, recording about 28,645 pounds per ton, while the price of a ton was about 28,607.31 pounds yesterday.

Cement price

Gray cement jumped today, Friday, to the highest price, recording about 2063.89 pounds per ton, and the price of a ton was recorded yesterday at about 1976.68 pounds.

Prices of building materials companies

As for the price of the usual white cement, it reached 2600 pounds per ton, while a ton of Super Sinai cement, Al Waha cement, and Real cement recorded about 2500 pounds.

The price of Egyptian iron was about 27,350 pounds, iron with tea 28,200 pounds, Attia iron at 27,150 pounds, Sarhan iron was recorded at about 27,100 pounds, Komi iron was 27,200 pounds, Maadi iron was 27,150 pounds, Al-Ashry was 27,350 pounds, and Misr Steel was 27,350 pounds.
