These structures, present throughout the territory, provide information and advice in sexual health.
There is also a national information toll-free number (0 800 08 11 11anonymous and free call) led by the French Family Planning Movement (MFPF) and accessible from the ivg.gouv.fr website. Free, anonymous and accessible in mainland France and the overseas departments, this number is available to answer all questions about sexuality, contraception and abortion. It provides access to a attentive and non-judgmental listening and to be oriented towards competent people and places best suited to the situation and needs of each.

A redesign of the ivg.gouv.fr site on the occasion of the anniversary of the law of March 2, 2022
Since the “Veil” law of January 17, 1975, which decriminalized abortion, successive laws have made it possible to broaden and improve access to and the framework for abortion care.
Just a year ago, the law of March 2, 2022 aimed at strengthening the right to abortion was extended the legal deadline for abortion from 12 to 14 weeks of pregnancy.
