A number of those accepted at Aramco’s employment office in Dhahran appeared in a rare instance.
The picture was taken while they were awaiting appointment and starting training and work in 1947 AD.
It is noteworthy that the beginnings of Aramco go back to 1933 AD when a concession agreement was concluded between the Kingdom and the Standard Oil Company of California “Socal”, and a subsidiary company called California Arabian Standard Oil Company (CASOC) was established to manage this agreement.
