A recent scientific study revealed many health benefits. To eat whole grains. and its effect on overweight. and blood pressure. and blood sugar level. He added: “The data suggests that people who eat more whole grains are better able to maintain their weight, blood sugar and blood pressure over time. Managing these risk factors as we age may help protect once morest heart disease.”

The researchers attributed the great benefits of whole grains to their richness in fiber, which makes those who eat them feel full, as well as the contribution of magnesium, potassium and antioxidants to lowering blood pressure, according to Sky News.

According to the Dietary Guidelines, the recommended amount of whole grains is 3 servings per day, ie one slice of wholegrain bread, ½ cup of rolled oat flakes, or ½ cup of brown rice, per serving.
