Coffee has many health benefits, but it may cause some side effects for some.

Dr. Natalia Nefedova, a Russian nutritionist, has identified people who should abstain from coffee, according to Russia Today.

In an interview with the Russian news agency Nation News, the expert points out that coffee is a useful drink. However, there is a group of people, who may suffer from negative consequences after taking it.

“I think the negative consequences are related to too much coffee, or that this group of people is intolerant to caffeine,” she says.

And she adds, coffee may also cause problems for people with irritable bowel syndrome, as it causes nausea and diarrhea.

The expert points out that coffee does not contain carcinogens, has a protective effect on health, and reduces the risk of a number of serious diseases.

She explains, coffee can help prevent the development of cancer, cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, depression, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. In addition, coffee stops the formation of gallstones.

The expert advises to refrain from using dissolved coffees, because they contain carcinogens resulting from the process of processing coffee beans.

She adds, when you also drink coffee and tea, the absorption of minerals such as iron and magnesium slows down. So to make up for it, milk can be added to the drink.
