A pedestrian in critical condition after an accident in Montreal

A woman was fighting for her life on Friday evening following being hit by a car in the Villeray district of Montreal.

The victim, a woman in her thirties, was hit around 8:40 p.m. at the corner of Saint-Hubert and Faillon Est streets.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was in critical condition during her transport to the hospital, confirmed Benjamin Dansereau, spokesperson for Urgences-santé.

The circumstances leading to this collision remained unknown in the middle of the evening.
