The adventures of Amicia and Hugo will continue soon in 2022. And if no precise release date is yet available for the time being, the Xbox & Bethesda showcase evening provided us with unpublished gameplay images.
If he ever showed up at the Tribeca festival a few days ago, A Plague Tale : Requiem only really displayed the breadth of its gameplay during the Xbox & Bethesda showcase. Crossbow in the back, Amicia evolves sometimes alone sometimes accompanied in various environments of day and night. The phases of infiltration and use of light still seem to be at the heart of the gameplay while Hugo’s abilities are more than ever a threat to those who seek to seize power during the Hundred Years’ War. Unfortunately the showcase will not have allowed the revelation of a release date. We will still be satisfied with a 2022 wave for the game which will be available day one in the game pass. A Plague Tale: Requiem will also be released on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch via the Cloud.
A demo playable in New York
For its part, Tribeca had rather shared a making-of with us, available in French, which allowed us to learn more about the development of the game, which has grown from 12 to 250 developers over the years.
