The Elden Ring speedrunners are still vying for the best time. Distortion2 reclaims his throne by beating the game in less than 20 minutes.

Some time ago we were talking about outstanding Distortion2 runs. Indeed, the YouTubeur managed to finish Elden Ring in just 28 minutes and 59 seconds. Meanwhile, the race has not run out of steam. Indeed, Distortion2 tirelessly continued its runs, exploding the counters.

Only, last week, Distortion2, which had nevertheless managed to finish Elden Ring on 25 minutes and 29 seconds, was dethroned. At the same time, FromSoftware released a patch that challenged the strategies of top speedrunners. Thus, Hazeblade shared a video of his magnificent run of 24 minutes and 37 seconds. The latter explained his time thanks to a bug in the “zip” allowing the player to teleport to certain points on the map.

However, Distortion2 had not said its last word! Indeed, the YouTuber continued his runs, thus managing to complete the game in 22 minutes and 21 seconds. Before reiterating a record with his last video (also using the famous “zip”), and completing the game in 18 minutes and 27 seconds! It looks like the race is far from over.
