A record price of €7,500 for the new Apple MacBook

More than 7,500 euros for a new MacBook. That’s the price you’ll have to pay for the 16-inch MacBook with the best specs.

Apple announced today refreshed 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, equipped with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. Prices soar when you customize the machines a bit. With the highest specifications, we even reach heights.

The 14-inch model starts at €2,449, while the 16-inch model starts at €3,049. Both starting prices remain unchanged from the previous generation models, but larger upgrades are available depending on the model, and this is where the differences appear.

A fully-featured 16-inch MacBook Pro now hits an end price of €7,649, with a high-end M2 Max chip featuring a 12-core CPU and 32-core GPU, 96GB unified memory and an 8TB SSD.

It is clear that this type of machine is not intended for everyone.
