A “remarkable” tweet by Jumblatt regarding Lebanon

The head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, tweeted on his Twitter account, writing, “Despite this simplification in describing the Lebanese situation during the Giants Summit, this small country is like a bonsai tree rooted throughout history.”

He added, “Therefore, I believe that each of the two giants has the possibility of re-establishing Lebanon on the Silk Road, of which Lebanon was a historical link.”

Jumblatt attached his tweet with the hashtag: #silk.

The art of “bonsai” dates back to Chinese origins, it was introduced to Japan in the 12th century AD, and developed and then became famous in the world through it.

The oldest bonsai trees still preserved today are a few hundred years old.

And the bush is pruned according to strict rules, these trees become a source of meditation and contemplation.
