It was the first appearance of George Kordahi as a broadcaster on the mbc1 channel on the program Who Will Win the Million, and he became famous for a great month in the Arab world over the 3 years since the program was shown.
George Fouad Kordahi was born on May 1, 1950, in the village of Feytroun in the Keserwan District of Mount Lebanon Governorate.
He now holds the position of Lebanon’s Minister of Information, as he was appointed on September 10, 2021, after the formation of the new government headed by Najib Mikati, more than a year later.
From the resignation of the previous government following the devastating explosion that occurred in the port of Beirut. The religion, beliefs, and original sect of the Lebanese journalist, George Kordahi, are Maronite Christian, because he was born into a Maronite Christian family.
According to what was monitored by the “Ithra Net” team, George Kordahi spoke about the Islamic religion in a video clip, when they spread rumors about converting to Islam, and his response was as stated in this clip.
“They congratulated him that I had been guided and embraced Islam, and I received messages in millions of them congratulating me that I had converted to Islam, and this is an honor for me.”
But he considered spreading these rumors an accusation against him because he had never converted to Islam, and he is still a Christian.
