Al-Marsad newspaper: A video clip obtained by Al-Marsad showed a Saudi employee in a famous restaurant complaining that the restaurant required her to stand for 8 hours during her work.

The documenter of the clip, the Saudi employee, asked whether the matter was limited to the period of presence of customers or all the time.

She indicated that she is forbidden to sit all the time, except for the prayer time, while her colleagues and superiors sit inside.

She explained that she had received instructions obligating her not to sit for the duration of her work, even if there were no clients, and the official had deliberately removed the chair during her 8-hour work period.
