While storm Malik hit our country on Monday, it was the United Kingdom that was particularly affected by gusts of wind throughout the weekend. Toney Adoniadis, a resident of Gateshead in England, filmed impressive footage of a nearby roof literally flying off before falling to the pavement.
“Me worrying about a tile coming off my roof,” Toney joked as he shared the video on Facebook. Fortunately, this incident did not hurt anyone.
As a reminder, the Malik and Corrie storms deprived approximately 7,000 homes of electricity in the north of England and 9,000 in Scotland, while gusts of nearly 145 km / h were measured. Three people lost their lives including a nine-year-old boy who was crushed by a tree in Staffordshire, reports the Sun.
