A Saudi writer reveals the reason for the delay in implementing retribution in terrorist cases • Al-Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: The journalist and writer Jasir Al-Jasser said that death sentences are not carried out in Saudi Arabia unless the evidence is verified and the accused is granted all his rights and passes through all judicial levels.

Al-Jasser explained, in an intervention with Al-Arabiya channel, that a case passed through the competent court, then the appeal, and then the Supreme Court, with all their rights enabled, adding: “No one can be harmed arbitrarily.”

He added, “Some of the cases are old, such as the Al-Dalwa crime, which was from 2014, as well as the two young men who killed their mother. They were arrested from the first day, but the matter took its course until all the evidence was verified.”
