A scary scene: sharks on a feeding frenzy

Fishermen had the right to quite a spectacle following coming across sharks in the midst of a feeding frenzy, off the coast of Venice, Louisiana.

This impressive scene can be seen in images shared on “Storyful”. One of the fishermen, Dillon May, explained that he and his girlfriend Kaitlyn Dix thought it was a tuna boil, a feeding frenzy that makes the water appear to be boiling.

“We saw it was sharks […]I had never seen anything like it,” Mr. May said.

On the video, we see that the agitation is such that we hear the sharks hitting once morest the boat on which the couple was. The man also indicated that the sharks were in such a frenzy that the water was flying back into their boat.

Dillon May said they were regarding 15 miles from shore when they spotted a large school of menhaden fish, and headed towards it. However, the predators found it first.

“By the time we got there, the sharks had found the group and pushed them once morest the boat to feast,” added the fisherman.
