The shooter opened fire on the hairdressing salon run by the mother of the child since December 7, the same source said, confirming information from France Bleu.
The child, transported by helicopter to the Nancy hospital center, received “a bullet in the head and his prognosis is vital,” Mayor Patrick Peron told AFP.
“The shooter tried to end his life and is also hospitalized,” he added.
