A week following being attacked during the French Championships in Caen, Wilfried Happio is the subject of a complaint for acts of sexual assault filed with the police station of the 12th arrondissement of Paris, according to The Parisian. According to the latter, the complainant is the sister of the man who hit the athlete last Saturday and a triple jump specialist, resident of Insep. The facts date back to October 2021.
Twenty minutes earlier, Happio had been surprised by an individual, who entered the stadium with a bracelet reserved for guests or accompanying persons. The latter had introduced himself by asking his identity. Happio had then confirmed by leaning to hear better and had received a blow in the face. The man responsible for the blow was quickly arrested.
