Weekly securities statistics published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey show that non-residents and foreigners sold shares worth $200.8 million over the past week.

At the same time, they purchased $7.4 million in local government bonds and $400,000 in corporate debt securities.

The central bank report indicates that foreigners reduced their stock portfolios by $200.8 million last week, indicating a decline in their interest in investing in stocks in Turkey.

On the other hand, they increased their investments in government and corporate debt securities by $7.8 million.

Regarding the stock of non-residents, it decreased from 33 billion and 5.8 million dollars on September 8 to 31 billion and 767.1 million dollars on September 15. This indicates the continued decline in investment levels of foreign investors in Turkey in light of the current economic challenges.
