To a warehouse, where the site was raided and the participants in its smuggling were arrested, numbering (8) residents, (6) of Syrian nationality and (2) of Pakistani nationality, in their possession (46,916,480) tablets of the narcotic amphetamine hidden inside a shipment of flour, in coordination with Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority. The suspects were arrested, and initial legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution.
The official spokesman of the General Directorate for Narcotics Control stated that the quantity of narcotic substances seized in this operation is the largest of its kind that is being attempted to be smuggled into the Kingdom in one operation, stressing that the security men are continuing with determination, determination and firmness in carrying out their tasks to follow up the activities of criminal networks, which target The security of the Kingdom and its citizens with drugs, confronting and thwarting them, and arresting everyone who participates in them to obtain a deterrent punishment.
