The resigned Minister of Information, George Kordahi, tweeted on his account via “Twitter”, writing: “Unfortunately, a comment attributed to me is being circulated on some social media regarding major religious shrines in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
He added, “First of all, this account on which my photo is is forged and I have nothing to do with it, either from near or from afar.”
He continued, “Secondly, this is not my style, neither in language nor in meaning, and it is contrary to my morals and upbringing.”
And Qardahi continued, “Third, I have all respect for the highest religious positions in Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries, and I refuse to criticize, attack or belittle these authorities.”
And he added, “Fourthly, whoever resorts to these methods expresses a sick mind and a lowly mentality.”
Qardahi concluded his tweet by saying: “It is necessary to note.”
