The price of gold fell today, Friday, in Egypt, at the beginning of trading, compared to yesterday’s prices, and the price of a gram fell 7 pounds at once.
The price of a gram of gold jumped by 11 pounds yesterday, but with the beginning of trading on Friday, the gram of 21 karat gold declined, driven by the decline in metal ore prices globally, on the back of raising interest rates in America, as well as a number of other countries.
Gold prices have witnessed major jumps in the local market in the past weeks, affected by the price of the metal globally, which rose due to the declaration of war between Russia and Ukraine.
Gold prices today
14 karat gold prices fell to 592.6 pounds per gram.
And the price of 18 karat gold fell to 762 pounds per gram.
And the price of 21 karat gold fell to 889 pounds per gram.
And the price of 24 carat gold fell to 1016 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound fell to 7,112 pounds, and the price may vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound, and its price is linked to the prices of a gram of 21 karat.
The price of gold today globally
The global price of gold fell during trading today, Friday, to about 1933 dollars an ounce, compared to about 1942 dollars an ounce yesterday.
