After it sparked widespread controversy by accusing it of cutting the hair of a tenth-grade high school student in a school in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Educational District in the State of Kuwait, the Ministry of Education announced that it is heading to terminate the services of a Palestinian teacher.
However, the accused completely denied the matter, saying that she did not cut the hair of the aforementioned student at all, explaining that she had repeatedly asked her to leave the scissors so as not to harm herself and her friends.
She added, in statements to “Your newspaper”, that she argued with the student regarding leaving the scissors, until the girl left the class, threatening the teacher to tear her veil and expel her from work.
Teacher: Check the cameras
She also confirmed that she was surprised, following the end of the class, that the student was at the administration’s door screaming words attacking her. And she called on the investigators to return to the cameras.
It is noteworthy that the incident dates back to last Thursday, when the student filed a complaint with the school administration once morest the teacher, who is in a state of collapse and crying, and asked to call her mother, who came immediately and took her to the police station to file an official complaint once morest the teacher.
After the communication, the Ministry formed a legal team to conduct an extensive investigation with the teacher and the school administration, and to listen to the testimony of the class students who confirmed the teacher’s threat to them a week ago by cutting their hair.
The Ministry of Education is interfering
It is noteworthy that the teacher had made it clear in her speech that she was newly appointed, as she had started her work only one week before the accident and had not undergone training or rehabilitation.
Meanwhile, the Ministry issued a statement stressing that the teacher’s behavior is not educational towards the student, confirming that the matter was referred to investigation.
She also indicated her keenness to preserve the safety of all male and female learners, stressing that “there will be no complacency in dealing with any incident or incident outside the educational and educational regulations in schools.”
