A suspect had been arrested in connection with the assassination of Jan-Willem Peeters, a 38-year-old lawyer. The latter was found dead in his car, riddled with bullets, rue de la Sérénade in Molenbeek, on Wednesday.
This Saturday, the suspect, Semun K., confessed to his crime, report our colleagues from Het Laatste Nieuws, citing a source close to the investigation. Jan-Willem Peeters had been receiving death threats for several months. Semun K. was in conflict with the lawyer over a rental issue.
