Governor said Texas, USA Greg Abbott told reporters that a gunman opened fire at an elementary school in the south of the state on Tuesday, killing a lab and 14 students.
Abbott said the suspect, whom he identified as 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, was also apparently killed by police officers who came to the scene.
Official details of the midday shooting at Robb Elementary School in Ovalde, Texas, regarding 128 km west of San Antonio, were not immediately clear.
“A teacher and 14 students were shot and killed in a horrific and incomprehensible way,” Abbott told a news briefing.
