Kannur: In Kannur, a teacher was arrested on the complaint that five female students were victims of sexual exploitation. Faisal Mecheri, a native of Kondoti, was arrested. Thaliparamb North Upazila Limits of U.P. Faisal is a school teacher. On the basis of five complaints received by Thaliparam police, a case was registered and the investigation started. It is reported that the police have received 17 complaints once morest him so far.
The incident came to light when the students were undergoing counselling. Then the school authorities informed the child line workers. He was working as a teacher in the school for the last four years. The complaint is that he has been sexually exploiting female students in the school for several days.
It is reported that regarding seventeen female students filed a similar complaint once morest him. The statements of the students have been recorded by the police.
