After three seasons at Blau-Weiß Linz, Tobias Koch is moving on: The 23-year-old signed with Klagenfurt until the summer of 2027. The midfielder is moving on a free transfer at the end of the season because his contract with the promoted team is expiring.
“With Tobias Koch we were able to win an absolute dream candidate. The boy has a great character and will fit seamlessly into the group,” explained Klagenfurt’s sports director Günther Gorenzel-Simonitsch, who was once in charge at Blau-Weiß Linz.
The Styrian-born came to Blau-Weiß Linz from Lafnitz in the summer of 2021 and has been a regular player ever since. So far in the current Bundesliga season he has played 25 games and scored one goal. Most recently he had to sit out due to an ankle injury.
Contract extensions for Seidl, Tursch and Pasic
Simon Seidl, Lukas Tusch and Alem Pasic will continue to play for Blau-Weiß Linz: For the trio, the club took the option to extend the expiring contracts by one season.
