A tugboat caught fire on the Orinoco River

The fire was generated on the followingnoon of this Saturday, June 25, at the Acbl pier, in Puerto Ordaz.

The Río Manamo tugboat caught fire in the Orinoco River on the followingnoon of this Saturday, June 25, in Puerto Ordaz.

The event was recorded at the dock of the Acbl company. The pusher allegedly belonged to the private company Tepuy Marina.

Unofficially, it was learned that the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (Inea) authorized the use of the vessel for operations of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana (CVG).

Units from Inea, together with the Maritime Police and Marine Firefighters, went to the scene and reportedly declared the total loss of the tugboat.
